HUAWEI-VRRP-EXT-MIB

Function Overview

This MIB is defined by Huawei. The MIB provides the GET and SET operations on the information about VRRP tracking BFD, tracked interface, Admin-VRRP, and binding.

The updated MIB is used to enable the VRRP SS function, set the VRRP SS timer, and enable the capability of learning the interval for sending VRRP Hello packets.

The OID of the root object is:

iso(1).org(3).dod(6).internet(1).private(4).enterprises(1).huawei(2011).huaweiMgmt(5).hwDatacomm(25).hwVrrpExt(127)

Relationships Between Tables

Figure 130-1  Relationship between hwAdminVrrpCfgTable and hwAdminVrrpMemberTable

Figure 130-1 shows the relationship between hwAdminVrrpCfgTable and hwAdminVrrpMemberTable. An Admin-VRRP can manage multiple member VRRPs; therefore, the member VRRPs can be mapped to the Admin-VRRP through hwAdminVrrpCfgVRID and hwAdminVrrpCfgIfIndex.

hwVrrpStatResetTable does not have any direct relationship with hwAdminVrrpCfgTable, or hwAdminVrrpMemberTable.

Read-write

The value of the object identifies whether the VRRP smooth switching function is enabled.

If VRRP smooth switching function is enabled, the VRRP smooth switching timer is configured. That is, the interval for sending VRRP Hello packets is set upon the master/backup switchover.

The values are as follows:
  • disable(0)
  • timer(1) to timer(255)
By default, the value is timer(100).

If VRRPv3 is used, the maximum value is 40950 ms. If a configured value is greater than 40950 ms, the value of 40950 ms takes effect.
