(Optional) Setting the Value of the Link-Up Timer


After the value of the Link-Up timer is set, the RRPP link does not immediately change its status but changes the status when the Link-Up timer times out. This reduces flapping of the link status.

You only need to set the value of the Link-Up timer on the master node.


  1. On the master node, run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run rrpp linkup-delay-timer linkup-delay-timer-value

    The value of the Link-Up timer is set for the RRPP link.

    The value set by the linkup-delay-timer-value command must be no larger than the value of the Fail timer minus twice the value of the Hello timer. The default value of the Link-Up timer is 0.
