This document describes the configuration and maintenance of device through the web network management system. The web network management system provides the functions of viewing device information and managing the entire system, interfaces, services, ACL, QoS, routes, security, and tools.

Global Settings

Context

Bluetooth terminal location technology enables Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices to locate Bluetooth terminals through the iBeacon protocol.

Procedure

  • Set global parameters.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > BLE > Global Settings. The Global Settings page is displayed. Set the parameters in Table 5-127.

      Parameter

      Description

      Low power alarm threshold

      Low power alarm threshold for BLE devices.

      Interval for APs to report monitoring information

      Interval at which APs report monitoring information.

  • Create a BLE device.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > BLE > Global Settings. The Global Settings page is displayed.
    2. Click Create. On the page that is displayed, set parameters for creating a BLE device. Table 5-128 describes the parameters for creating a BLE device.

      Parameter

      Description

      Creation mode

      Mode in which a BLE device is added.

      MAC address

      MAC address of a BLE device.

      Start MAC

      Start MAC address when a MAC address range is specified for adding a BLE device.

      End MAC

      End MAC address when a MAC address range is specified for adding a BLE device.

    3. Click OK.
  • Delete a BLE device.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > BLE > Global Settings. The Global Settings page is displayed.
    2. Select a BLE device and click Delete.
    3. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.

BLE Monitoring Result

Context

BLE monitoring results are displayed on the BLE Monitoring Result page.

Procedure

  1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > BLE > BLE Monitoring Result. The BLE Monitoring Result page is displayed. You can view BLE monitoring results, as shown in Figure 5-203.
