This document describes the configuration and maintenance of device through the web network management system. The web network management system provides the functions of viewing device information and managing the entire system, interfaces, services, ACL, QoS, routes, security, and tools.

The panel of a switch displays status of all cards, power modules, and slot usage on the switch.


The panel diagram displays information about running cards (including MPUs and service cards) and power modules on a switch, and also shows empty slots on the switch. When you move the mouse on a service card, basic information about the service card is displayed. You can click a service card to display the interface status on the service card.


  1. Choose Monitoring > Summary. The panel diagram is displayed, as shown in Figure 4-1.

  2. Click a service card on the panel to display the interface status section, as shown in Figure 4-2.
