This document describes the configuration and maintenance of device through the web network management system. The web network management system provides the functions of viewing device information and managing the entire system, interfaces, services, ACL, QoS, routes, security, and tools.

Trace User/AP

Trace User/AP

Context

The Trace User/AP tool can be used to diagnose users or APs and record diagnosis information in a diagnosis file.

Procedure

  1. Choose Diagnosis > Diagnostic Tools > Trace User/AP. The Trace User/AP page is displayed.



  2. Set Trace to ON.
  3. Add users or APs to be diagnosed.
    1. In the Trace User/AP List area, click Add.
    2. Set Trace User/AP parameters. For description of the parameters, see Table 6-8.

      Wireless User List

      List of users to be diagnosed.

      This parameter is available only when Object is set to User.

      AP Manage

      List of APs to be diagnosed.

      This parameter is available only when Object is set to AP.

    3. Click .
  4. Click Start to start the user or AP diagnosis task.
  5. Click Stop to stop the user or AP diagnosis task.
  6. Click to download the trace_user_* or trace_ap_* file of the diagnosed users or APs.
  7. Click to delete the trace_user_* or trace_ap_* file of the diagnosed users or APs.
