This document describes the configuration and maintenance of device through the web network management system. The web network management system provides the functions of viewing device information and managing the entire system, interfaces, services, ACL, QoS, routes, security, and tools.

User Timeout

User Timeout

The web system assigns each user a timeout period to prevent idle users from occupying system resources.

If you do not perform any operations on the web system GUI for a long time, you are logged out and the login page is displayed. Figure 3-5 shows the login page. If you need to continue operations, log in again.

By default, the timeout period for a login user is 20 minutes. You can change the timeout period on the System Info page.

Changing the Timeout Period

Choose Maintenance > System Maintenance > System and enter the new timeout period on the System info page, as shown in Figure 3-6. Click Apply.
