(Optional) Disabling OSPF IP FRR on an Interface

Context

OSPF IP FRR can be disabled on an interface of a specific device that is transmitting important services and resides on an FRR backup link. This operation prevents the device connected to this interface from becoming a node on the backup link and from being burdened after FRR switches traffic to the backup link.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run interface interface-type interface-number

The view of the OSPF IP FRR-enabled interface is displayed.

  3. Run ospf frr block

The OSPF IP FRR function is disabled on the specified interface.
