Resetting OSPFv3

Resetting OSPFv3

OSPFv3 adjacency relationships are removed when you reset OSPFv3 connections. Exercise caution when running the reset ospfv3 command.

After modifying an OSPFv3 routing policy or protocol, reset the OSPFv3 connections to validate the modification.

  • To reset OSPFv3 connections and validate the new configuration, run the following commands in the user view:

    • reset ospfv3 { process-id | all } [ graceful-restart [ extend-period period ] ]

    • reset ospfv3 { process-id | all } counters [ neighbor [ interface-type interface-number ] [ router-id ] ]
