Feature Limitations

  • You need to configure MPUs to work in 1:1 backup mode.

  • The upgrade system software has been loaded to the master MPU and standby MPU.

  • The current system software version can be upgraded to the target system software version using ISSU.

  • Configuration commands cannot be issued during an ISSU upgrade.

  • Only one Telnet user is allowed to log in to the system during an ISSU upgrade. If multiple Telnet users have logged in to the system, ISSU check will fail and the ISSU process will stop.

  • During the ISSU upgrade, services are interrupted for about 2.5 minutes.

  • ISSU is not supported in a CSS.
