Configuring Basic OSPF Functions
Applicable Environment
When OSPF is configured on multiple switches in the same area, most configuration data, such as the timer, filter, and aggregation, must be planned uniformly in the area. Incorrect configurations may prevent neighboring switches from exchanging messages or even cause routing information congestion and self-loops.
OSPF configurations performed in interface views take effect regardless of whether OSPF is enabled. These configurations remain in place even if OSPF is disabled.
