Deactivating a Traffic Control Policy
In a storage system where only one type of applications is available or all LUNs, snapshots, or file systems need the same number of resources, you can deactivate traffic control policies because adjusting and controlling performance of I/O classes is unnecessary.
Prerequisites
The traffic control policy that you want to deactivate is in the Running or Idle state.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Provisioning >
Resource Performance Tuning >
SmartQoS > Traffic Control.
- Select the traffic control policy you want to deactivate.
- Choose More > Deactivate.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
