Modifying Objective Information
You can modify the control type and objective of a traffic control policy to effectively adjust and control the performance of applications.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Provisioning >
Resource Performance Tuning >
SmartQoS > Traffic Control.
- Select the traffic control policy you want to modify and click Properties.
The Traffic Control Policy Properties dialog box is displayed.
- Modify the control parameters of the traffic control policy.
- Click the Objective tab.
- Select a Control Type.
Supported control types include Read I/O, Write I/O, and Read/Write I/O.
- In the Control Objective area, set the new performance goals that you want this policy to achieve.
- For an upper-limit traffic control policy, you can set Bandwidth and IOPS.
- For a lower-limit traffic control policy, you can set Bandwidth, IOPS, and Latency.
- Click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
