Deleting a Traffic Control Policy
If a traffic control policy can no longer accurately adjust and control the performance of an I/O class as the application type changes, delete this policy.
Context
The traffic control policy to be deleted is in the Inactive state. Otherwise, deactivate the traffic control policy.
Procedure
- Optional: Deactivate a traffic control policy.
If the traffic control policy is Running or Idle, deactivate it first.
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Provisioning >
Resource Performance Tuning >
SmartQoS > Traffic Control.
- Select the traffic control policy you want to delete, and click Delete.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
