Configuring vStores
Before configuring vStore, read configuration process and check the license file. By creating vStores and vStore administrators, you can allocate and manage storage resources on demand to ensure the performance of key applications and increase the service qualify of storage system.
Context
Storage systems provide two types of management views:
- System view
Default view of system administrators. System administrators can create vStores in this view and manage global and vStore-level resources. After activating the SmartMulti-Tenant license, system administrators can create vStores and switch to the vStore view for configuration and management.
- vStore view
After activating the SmartMulti-Tenant license, system administrators can create vStores in the system view and switch to the vStore view. By default, vStore administrators log in to the vStore view, and they cannot switch to the system view.
