Deleting a Remote Replication vStore Pair
After a remote replication vStore pair is deleted, the remote replication relationship between the two vStores does not exist.
Prerequisites
Confirm that the vStore pair to be deleted does not have HyperReplication pairs. If there are HyperReplication pairs, delete them first. Besides, only vStore pairs meet the following requirements can be deleted:
- Link Status of the vStore pair is Normal, and Pair Running Status is not Invalid
- Link Status of the vStore pair is Interrupted, and Pair Running Status is Invalid
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Data Protection >
Remote Replication > Remote Replication vStore Pair.
- In the remote replication vStore pair list, select the pair that you want to delete and click Delete.
A dialog box is displayed indicating risky operations.
- Determine whether to select Only delete the configuration information about the local device if the remote replication vStore pair fails or the remote device is disconnected. Based on site requirements, click I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
If the link connecting to the remote device is normal, do not select Only delete the configuration information about the local device if the remote replication vStore pair fails or the remote device is disconnected. If the remote replication vStore pair is invalid or the link connecting to the remote device is interrupted, select Only delete the configuration information about the local device if the remote replication vStore pair fails or the remote device is disconnected. Then you can delete the remote replication vStore pair.
