Removing a Mirror Copy
This operation allows you to remove a mirror copy that is no longer necessary.
Prerequisites
- If there is only one mirror copy in the system, the mirror copy cannot be removed.
- If Running Status of a mirror copy is Synchronizing, the mirror copy cannot be removed.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Data Protection >
HyperMirror.
- In the function pane on the left, select the HyperMirror from which you want to remove a mirror copy.
- Remove a mirror copy.
- In the lower function pane, select the mirror copy that you want to remove and click Remove.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box and select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation.
- Click OK
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
- In the lower function pane, select the mirror copy that you want to remove and click Remove.
