Deleting a HyperMirror
This operation allows you to delete a HyperMirror that is no longer necessary.
Prerequisites
- Health Status of the HyperMirror and its mirror copies must be Normal.
- Retain only one mirror copy of the HyperMirror and delete the other mirror copy.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Data Protection >
HyperMirror.
- In the function pane on the left, select the HyperMirror that you want to delete.
- Delete the selected HyperMirror.
- Click Delete.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box and select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation.
- Click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
- Click Delete.
