Checking the Environment Before the Configuration
Before creating a WORM file system, the vStore administrator needs to confirm with the system administrator to verify that the storage system allows the operation.
A vStore administrator can only manage owning vStores and other configuration operations can only be performed by the system administrator in system view. Before creating a WORM file system, ensure that the following conditions are met:
- Licenses for WORM, CIFS/NFS, and vStores have been imported and activated.
- The WORM compliance clock has been initialized.
- Logical ports for managing and accessing CIFS/NFS sharing are created for vStores.
If any condition cannot be met, contact the system administrator.
