Checking the License File
HyperClone is license controlled. Check the license to ensure that it grants the permission to use HyperClone.
Context
Clone is displayed as HyperClone(Clone) in the Feature column on DeviceManager.
Precautions
When applying for a HyperClone license for an OceanStor 18000 series storage system, ensure that the capacity requested in the license is greater than or equal to the total capacity of the storage pools where the LUNs to be used in HyperClone reside. Table 2-1 shows an example of capacity calculation.
