How can I reset the password of recovery officers?


  1. Log in to the key management server's web interface as a security officer.
  2. Choose Users > User List. In the user list, find the recovery officer whose password needs to be changed and click .

    The system displays the officer has sent the password reset request, as shown in Figure 3-96.

  3. Log out the security officer and log in to the web interface of the key management server as an administrator.
  4. Choose Users > User List. In the user list, find the recovery officer and click .

    The Change User Password interface is displayed, as shown in Figure 3-97.

  5. Click Approve.

    The Users page is displayed and a random new password for the recovery officer is generated, as shown in Figure 3-98.

  6. Record and save the new password.


    The recovery officer must log in to the management interface of the key management server with the new random password and then change the password upon the first login.
