What can I do if KMIP cannot be started?

  1. Log in to the key management server's management interface as an administrator.
  2. Select Network and press Enter.

    The Network Properties interface is displayed, as shown in Figure 3-99.

  3. Check whether KMIP has been started and whether the port number has been correctly configured.

    • If no, correct the parameter settings.
    • If yes, perform the following operations:
      1. Log in to the key management server's web interface as user officer.
      2. Click the Licensing tab.
      3. Check whether the license is valid. If it is invalid, purchase a new license and import it. If it is valid, contact technical support engineers.
    NOTE:

    Ensure that you perform these operations in non-maintenance mode. The KMIP service cannot be started in maintenance mode.
