Viewing Fibre Channel Port Information

The following procedure guides you through how to view the information about Fibre Channel ports on a storage device.

Prerequisites

A Fibre Channel interface module has been properly installed on a controller.

Procedure

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose System.
  3. Click the controller enclosure where the Fibre Channel port resides.
  4. Click to switch to the rear view.
  5. Click the Fibre Channel port whose information you want to view.

    The FC Port dialog box is displayed.

    NOTE:

    GUIs may vary with product versions and models. The actual GUIs prevail.

  6. View the Fibre Channel port information.

    Table 6-3 describes Fibre Channel port parameters.
