This document is applicable to OceanStor 5110 V5, 5110F V5, 5300 V5, 5300F V5, 5500 V5, 5500F V5, 5600 V5, 5600F V5, 5800 V5, 5800F V5, 6800 V5, and 6800F V5 storage systems. It describes hardware installation of those storage systems for helping you easily and quickly finish the installation.

Replacing a Call Home Service Certificate

A Call Home service certificate is used to improve the service security. By default, a Call Home service certificate has been imported to a storage system. You are required to re-import a Call Home service certificate when the certificate expires or is lost.

Procedure

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Import a Call Home service certificate.

    NOTE:

    After logging in to DeviceManager, you can import a Call Home service certificate on either the Credential Management or Call Home Service page.

    • Import a Call Home service certificate on the Credential Management page.
    1. Choose Settings > Storage Settings > Value-added Service Settings > Credential Management.
    2. Click Import and Activate.

      The Import Certificate dialog box is displayed.

    3. Select Call Home certificate from Certificate Type.
    4. Select a Call Home service certificate from CA Certificate File and click Open.
    5. Click OK.

      The security alert dialog box is displayed.

    6. Confirm information in the dialog box. Select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.

      The Success dialog box is displayed.

    7. Click OK.
    NOTE:

    The CA certificate is not displayed in the certificate list.

    • Import a Call Home service certificate on the Call Home Service page.
    1. Choose Settings > Storage Settings > Value-added Service Settings > Call Home Service.
    2. Click Import.

      The Import Certificate dialog box is displayed.

    3. Click Select to select a Call Home service certificate and click Open.
    4. Click OK.

      The security alert dialog box is displayed.

    5. Confirm information in the dialog box. Select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.

      The Success dialog box is displayed.

    6. Click OK.
