Purpose

This document describes how to install OceanStor 18000 V5 and 18000F V5 series storage systems. It consists of the following parts: precautions and planning, installation process and preparation, hardware installation, cabling and checking, system power-on and initialization, and software installation. In addition to some FAQs, this document also provides instructions on how to install storage devices in third-party cabinets.
