add remote_device white_list

Function

The add remote_device white_list command is used to add a white list of heterogeneous disk arrays.

Format

add remote_device white_list vendor=? product_id=? asl_id=? path_selector=? fail_back=? fail_over=?

Parameters

Value

vendor=? Vendor name.

The value consists of 1 to 8 characters.

product_id=? Product model.

The value consists of 1 to 16 characters.

path_selector=? Algorithm used by a disk array to select a path.

The value can be "FIX", "ROUND_ROBIN", or "LEAST_QUEUE", where:

  • "FIX": the FIX path selection algorithm.
  • "ROUND_ROBIN": the ROUND_ROBIN path selection algorithm.
  • "LEAST_QUEUE": the LEAST_QUEUE path selection algorithm.
fail_back=? Failback mode of disk array link faults.

The value can be "FAILBACK_IMMEDIAT", "NOT_FAILBACK", or "DELAY_FAILBACK", where:

  • "FAILBACK_IMMEDIATE": Failback will be performed immediately.
  • "NOT_FAILBACK": Failback will not be performed.
  • "DELAY_FAILBACK": Failback will be postponed.
fail_over=? Whether path failover is enabled.

The value can be "ENABLE" or "DISABLE", where:

  • "ENABLE": Path failover is enabled.
  • "DISABLE": Path failover is disabled.
asl_id=? Array support library (ASL) ID.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 1023.
