The reboot controller command is used to reboot a specified controller.

Controller ID.

The controller ID is in the format of "XA", "XB". "X" is the engine ID which starts from "0". For example, ID of controller B on engine 0 is "0B"; ID of controller A on engine 1 is "1A".

Usage Guidelines

  • The controller cannot process services when being rebooted.
  • This command provides an interactive mode for entering passwords. The password will be displayed behind asterisks.
  • If the number of consecutively entered incorrect passwords reaches 3 within 5 minutes, the current session will be offline.


Reboot controller B on engine 0.

DANGER: You are going to restart controller. This operation disables the controller from loading services. 
Suggestion: Before you perform this operation, ensure that the service port of the controller has multiple paths and controller related services have been stopped. Do not perform this operation when the controller is running.
