change disk reset


The change disk reset command is used to reset the specific hard disk.


change disk reset disk_id=?





disk_id=? ID of the hard disk.

To obtain the value, run "show disk general".

Usage Guidelines

Before executing this operation, please guarantee that the data on hard disk has been backed up.


To reset the hard disk whose ID is "DAE000.0", run the following command. The command output varies depending on a specific product.

engineer:/>change disk reset disk_id=DAE000.0
DENGER: You are about to restart the disk. 
This operation leads to data loss on the disk. If the disk domain where the disk resides is in the reconstruction or degradation state, this operation may cause reconstruction failure, service interruption, and data loss. 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that data on the disk is backed up and check the status of the disk domain that houses the disk to avoid reconstruction failure, service interruption, and data loss.
