The setupsystem command is used to format the startup partition and reinstall the operating system.

Usage Guidelines

  • You must upload the installation package to the /home/permitdir directory and enter the correct package name as prompted. Otherwise, the operating system cannot be reinstalled.
  • If the installation package matches the device type, enter "y" to start formatting and reinstalling.
  • If the installation package fails to match the device type, enter "n" to stop reinstalling.

Example

Format the startup partition and reinstall the operating system.

Storage: minisystem> setupsystem 
Make sure you have uploaded package to /home/permitdir/
