show pal snap_fai

show pal snap_fai


The show pal snap_fai command is used to query the snapshot information in the FAI structure.


show pal snap_fai [ volume_id=? ] [ controller=? ]





volume_id=? Volume ID of the snapshot.

To obtain the value, run the "show pal snap_fai" command without parameters.

controller=? Controller ID.

The value is in the format of "XA" or "XB" or "XC" or "XD", where the "X" is an integer ranging from 0 to 3, for example: "0A", "1C".

Reference Count

Count of I/O references.

FAI Address

FAI address.

Objset Address

Object set address.


Magic number.

Is Init

Whether the FAI structure is initialized.

Is Used

Whether the file is used.

File System Status

File system status.

Root Object ID

ID of the root directory object.

RW Status

Read and write status of the file system.

User Pool Free Capacity

Available capacity of the user pool, expressed in sectors. The parameter is used during space statistics and configured by the system.

Snap Info Address

Snapshot structure pointer.

File System Name

File system name.

Auto Update Atime

Whether file access time updating is enabled.

Read Only

Whether the file system is read-only.

Space ID

ID of the file system distributor.

Disk Pool ID

ID of the disk pool to which the file system belongs.

User Pool ID

ID of the user pool to which the file system belongs.

Work Controller ID

Working controller of the file system.

Owner Controller ID

Owning controller of the file system.

Final Work Controller ID

Final working controller of the file system.

Home Pair ID

Home engine ID of the file system.

Alloc Type

File system allocation type.


WWN of the file system.

Qos Priority

Priority setting.

Block Size

Block size.


CRC value.

Snapshot Volume ID

Volume ID of a read-only snapshot.

Is Visible

Whether a read-only snapshot is visible.

Dot Snapshot ID

ID of the ".snapshot" directory.

Rollback Mode

Snapshot rollback protection mode.

Auto Snapshot Switch

Switch of periodic snapshot creation.

Auto Create Snapshot

Periodic snapshot creation policy.

Auto Delete Snapshot

Switch of automatic deletion of file system snapshots.

Root Dir ID

ID of the root directory object of the file system.

Clone Snapshot ID

Source snapshot ID of a writable snapshot.

Original File System ID

Source file system ID of a writable snapshot.

Max Auto Snapshot Number

Maximum number of periodic snapshots.
