change logical_port failover


The change logical_port failover command is used to fail over the logical port manually.


change logical_port failover service_type=? controller=?





service_type Service type of the logical port.

The value is SAN.

controller Controller ID.

To obtain the value, run "show controller general".

Usage Guidelines

Before performing this operation, determine whether the modification is necessary.


Fail over the SAN logical port of controller 0A.

developer:/>change logical_port failover service_type=SAN controller=0A
DANGER: You are about to perform port failover. This operation may make the link to be unavailable for a short time. If it is FC port failover, the port that has been failed over will generate a linkdown alarm. 
Suggestion: Perform port failover only in upgrade scenarios. Before performing this operation, ensure the system is in normal status, and do not change the system network during failover.
