Function

The cmm.sh command is used to query and set the memory data protection upon reset flag for the CMM module.

Format

cmm.sh -c showmrf

cmm.sh -c setmrfi

cmm.sh -h

Minisystem mode

Usage Guidelines

This command is used to set the memory data protection upon reset flag. Use it only when an upgrade fails. Otherwise, data stored in memory may be lost. Exercise caution when using this command. The command can be used to:

1. Query the status of the memory data protection upon reset flag.

2. Set the status of the memory data protection upon reset flag to invalid.

Example

  • For ARM devices, view the flag of resetting for memory protection.

    Storage: minisystem> cmm.sh -c showmrf
    admin:/diagnose>cmm show memrecoverflag
    Memory recovery flag : Valid
    Memory recovery flag detail : 0x0

  • For x86 devices, view the flag of resetting for memory protection.

  • Set the status of the memory data protection upon reset flag to invalid.
