change host_group general

Function

The change host_group general command is used to change the name of a host group.

Format

change host_group general { host_group_id=? | host_group_name=? } [ name=? | vstore_id=? | force_change_vstore=? ]

host_group_id=?

Host group ID.

To obtain the value, run "show host_group general".

host_group_name=?

Host group name.

To obtain the value, run "show host_group general".

name=?

New name of a host group.

The value contains 1 to 31 characters including letters, digits, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.).

vstore_id=?

ID of the vStore to which a host group belongs.

The value ranges from 0 to 511.

force_change_vstore=?

Whether to forcibly change the vStore to which the host group belongs.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • "Yes": The host group and mapping view or host are associated, and the vStore ID can be changed.
  • "No": The host group and mapping view or host are associated, and the vStore ID cannot be changed.
