Function

The delete quota general command is used to delete the default directory quota of a file system, or the quota of a specified quota tree.

Format

delete quota general { quota_id=? | file_system_id=? | quota_tree_id=? } [ quota_type=? ]

quota_id=?

Indicates the quota ID.

The value describes the ID of a file system quota.To obtain the value, run the "show quota general" command.

file_system_id=?

Indicates the file system ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command.

quota_tree_id=?

Indicates the quota tree ID. Format: FSID@QuotaTreeID. FSID ranges between 0 and 65535, and QuotaTreeID ranges between 0 and 4096.

To obtain the value, run the "show quota_tree general" command.

quota_type=?

Indicates the quota type.

The value must be "directory".

Usage Guidelines

  • The following parameters are mutually exclusive: "quota_id","file_system_id" and "quota_tree_id".
  • Enter "quota_id" to delete a specified quota, without "quota_type" inputting.
  • Enter "file_system_id" to delete default directory quota of a file system. The "quota_type" must be entered, and the value must be "directory".
  • Enter "quota_tree_id" to delete directory quota on the specified quota tree. The "quota_type" must be entered, and the value must be "directory".

Example

  • Delete the default directory quota of file system 0.
    admin:/>delete quota general file_system_id=0 quota_type=directory 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Delete the directory quota of quota tree 0@1.
    admin:/>delete quota general quota_tree_id=0@1 quota_type=directory 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Delete the quota of ID 0@1@2@10100.
    admin:/>delete quota general quota_id=0@1@2@10100 
    Command executed successfully.
