Function

The change service http command is used to change the HTTP configuration.

Format

change service http { running_status=? | max_connections=? | root_directory=? | enable_web_dav=? | enable_http_port=? | enable_auto_index=? | ssl_cipher_suite=? } *

Value

running_status=?

Running status of the HTTP service.

The value is "stop" or "running", where:

  • "stop": stops the service.
  • "running": starts the service.

max_connections=?

Maximum number of connections.

The value is an integer from 1 to the maximum number of connections.

NOTE:

The maximum number of connections varies depending on the product model. For details, see section "Software Specifications" in the product description.

root_directory=?

Root directory of the HTTP.

The value contains 1 to 4000 ASCII characters.

enable_web_dav=?

Web Dav status.

The value is "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": enables the Web Dav.
  • "no": disables the Web Dav.

enable_http_port=?

HTTP port status.

The value is "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": enables the port.
  • "no": disables the port.

enable_auto_index=?

Status of the directory list function.

The value is "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": enables the directory list function.
  • "no": disables the directory list function.

ssl_cipher_suite=?

Cipher suite supported by the HTTP service.

The value is one or more cipher suites (AES128-SHA256,AES256-SHA256,AES128-SHA,DHE-DSS-AES128-SHA,AES256-SHA,DHE-DSS-AES256-SHA).

  • Change the HTTP configuration.
    admin:/>change service http max_connections=100 running_status=running root_directory=/fs0/http enable_web_dav=no enable_http_port=no 
    WARNING:You are about to configure the HTTP service. This operation may cause the following issues:  
    1. If the WebDAV function is enabled, this operation assigns resource users full control permission for the HTTP shared root directory.  
    2. If the HTTP port is enabled, this operation enables the insecure HTTP protocol, which may cause user information intercepted and bring security risks to file data access.  
    3. If the HTTP service is disabled, this operation makes the HTTP service provided by the device unavailable.  
    4. Changing the cipher suite causes service restart and interrupts services. 
    5. Setting the HTTP share path changes the owner and group of the share path to daemon.
