Function

The change file_extension_filter cifs command is used to modify a file name extension filtering rule.

Format

change file_extension_filter cifs rule_id=? file_extension_name=? rule_type=?

rule_id=?

Rule ID.

An integer from 0 to 2^64-1.

file_extension_name=?

File name extension.

The file name extension contains 1 to 127 visible ASCII characters, and contains only digits, letters, space, and special characters including (!\"#$%&\'()*+\,-.\/\:;\<=\>?@[\\]^_`{\|}~). Wildcard character * can only be the last character. For example, the file name extension can be txt, TXT, T?X, or Tx*.

rule_type=?

Rule type.

The parameter value can only be "only_allow" or "only_deny".

  • Parameters "rule_id=?", "file_extension_name=?", and "rule_type=?" must be entered at the same time.

Example

  • Query the status of the file name extension filtering rule before the modification.
    admin:/>show file_extension_filter cifs rule_id=1

    Share ID : 4  
    File Extension Name: txt 
    Rule Type: Only Allow
  • Modify the file name extension filtering rule.
    admin:/>change file_extension_filter cifs rule_id=1 file_extension_name=ppt rule_type=only_allow
