This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5 storage systems. It describes hardware installation of those storage systems for helping you easily and quickly finish the installation.

clear identity_mapping cache


The clear identity_mapping cache command is used to clear user mapping caches.


clear identity_mapping cache controller=? { username=? | uid=? } [ client_ip=? ]





controller=? Controller ID.

The value format can be "XA", "XB", "XC" and "XD", where the value of X can be an integer ranging from 0 to 3. To obtain the value, run the show controller general command.

username=? User name.

The value is a string containing 1 to 32 characters. The value cannot contain (/\), ([]), (:), (;), (|), (=), (,), (+), (*), (?), (<>), (@), ("), space, and control characters. The last character cannot be (.).

uid=? User ID.

The value is an integer from 0 to 18446744073709551615.

client_ip=? Client IP address.

The value contains 1 to 256 characters, and only hexadecimal numbers, periods (.), and colons (:) are allowed.



Usage Guidelines



  • Clear mapping caches of all users in the specified controller.

    developer:/>clear identity_mapping cache controller=0A
    Command executed successfully.
  • Clear mapping caches of the specified users in the specified controller.

    developer:/>clear identity_mapping cache controller=0A uid=100001
    Command executed successfully.
