change storage_pool relocation_schedule


The change storage_pool relocation_schedule command is used to change the relocation policy for a storage pool.


change storage_pool relocation_schedule pool_id=? relocation_type=?

change storage_pool relocation_schedule pool_id=? relocation_action=? [ duration=? ]






Storage pool ID.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 511.

To obtain the value, run "show storage_pool general".


Data migration triggering mode. If you specify this parameter, you cannot specify parameter relocation_action=?.

The value can be "automatic" or "manual", where:

  • "automatic": indicates timed migration.
  • "manual": indicates manual migration.


Data migration action. If you specify this parameter, you cannot specify parameter relocation_type=?.

The value can be "start", "stop", "pause", or "continue", where:

  • "start": starts data migration.
  • "stop": stops data migration.
  • "pause": suspends data migration.
  • "continue": continues data migration.


Duration of data migration. This parameter must be specified when relocation_action=? is set to "start".

The value is in the format of HH:MM or H:M. The value ranges from 00:30 to 24:00, indicating 30 minutes to 24 hours.



Usage Guidelines

OceanStor 18500 V5/18800 V5 storage systems support this command.


Change the data migration triggering mode of storage pool "0" to "automatic".

admin:/>change storage_pool relocation_schedule pool_id=0 relocation_type=automatic
