Function

The change service nfs command is used to modify the configurations of an NFS share.

Format

change service nfs { [ support_v3_enabled=? v3_acl_enabled=? ] [ support_v4_enabled=? v4_domain_name=? ] [ support_v41_enabled=? ] } *

support_v3_enabled=?

Whether to enable NFSv3.

Possible values are on and off, where:

  • on: The NFSv3 protocol is enabled.
  • off: The NFSv3 protocol is disabled.

v3_acl_enabled=?

Whether to enable NFSv3 ACL.

The value can be "on" and "off", where:

  • "on": The NFSv3 ACL is enabled.
  • "off": The NFSv3 ACL is disabled.

support_v4_enabled=?

Whether to enable NFSv4.

Possible values are on and off, where:

  • on: The NFSv4 protocol is enabled.
  • off: The NFSv4 protocol is disabled.

v4_domain_name=?

NFSv4 domain name.

The value consists of 1 to 64 characters.

support_v41_enabled=?

Whether to enable NFSv4.1.

Possible values are on and off, where:

  • on: The NFSv4.1 protocol is enabled.
  • off: The NFSv4.1 protocol is disabled.

  • Query NFS share configurations before the modification.
    admin:/>show service nfs

  • Modify NFS share configurations.

  • Close the NFS share service.

    WARNING: You are about to disable the NFSv3/NFSv4/NFSv4.1 service. This operation causes the NFSv3/NFSv4/NFSv4.1 sharing service provided by the storage device unavailable.  
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the NFSv3/NFSv4/NFSv4.1 sharing service is no longer needed.

  • Open the NFSv3 ACL.
    admin:/>change service nfs support_v3_enabled=on v3_acl_enabled=on 
    WARNING: You are about to open the NFSv3 ACL. This operation may cause the service performance to decrease. You are not advised to perform this operation in scenarios where multiple protocols are involved. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, confirm that you want to open the NFSv3 ACL.

  • Open the NFSv3 ACL and disable the NFSv4 service.
    admin:/>change service nfs support_v3_enabled=on v3_acl_enabled=on support_v4_enabled=off 
    WARNING: You are about to open the NFSv3 ACL and disable NFSv4 service. This operation may cause the NFSv3 service performance to decrease and disable the NFSv4 sharing service. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, confirm that you want to open the NFSv3 ACL and do not need NFSv4 sharing service.

  • Enable the NFSv4.1 service.
    admin:/>change service nfs support_v41_enabled=on  
    WARNING: You are about to enable the NFSv4.1 service. After the NFSv4.1 service is enabled, if the operating system of the interconnected host is not in the compatibility list, services on the host may be discontinuous.  
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, check whether the operating system is in the compatibility list.
