create sid_mapping_rule

Function

The create sid_mapping_rule command is used to add an SID mapping rule.

Format

create sid_mapping_rule from_sid=? { to_sid=? | to_name=? } [ mapping_type=? ]

from_sid

Pre-mapping SID.

The value is a string containing 3 to 256 characters and must meet definitions in [MS-DTYP].

to_sid

Post-mapping SID.

The value is a string containing 3 to 256 characters and must meet definitions in [MS-DTYP].

to_name

Post-mapping user (group) name.

The value is a string containing 1 to 256 characters. The value cannot contain (/), ([]), (:), (;), (|), (=), (,), (+), (*), (?), (<>), (@), ("), and control characters. The last character cannot be (.).

mapping_type

Mapping type.

The value can be "Normal" and "Domain". Where:

  • "Normal": user (group) SID mapping.
  • "Domain": domain SID mapping.

  • Add an SID mapping rule.
    admin:/>create sid_mapping_rule from_sid=S-1-6-88-5 to_name=localuser1 mapping_type=NORMAL 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Add an SID mapping rule.
    admin:/>create sid_mapping_rule from_sid=S-1-5-90 to_sid=S-1-6-88 mapping_type=DOMAIN 
    Command executed successfully.
