change clone stop

change clone stop

The change clone stop command is used to stop data synchronization between the primary LUN and a specified secondary LUN in a specified clone.

change clone stop clone_id=? lun_id=?

clone_id=? ID of the clone to be stopped.

To obtain the value, run "show clone general".

lun_id=? ID of a secondary LUN.

To obtain the value, run "show clone secondary_lun".

Usage Guidelines

This operation will stop copying data from the primary LUN to the secondary LUN. The data of the secondary LUN is no longer the data mapping of the primary LUN at a certain point in time.

Stop clone "0" and its secondary LUN "67".

admin:/>change clone stop clone_id=0 lun_id=67
CAUTION: You are about to stop secondary LUN of clone. This operation will stop the clone relationship between the primary and secondary LUNs. After the clone pair is stopped, data of the primary LUN cannot be synchronized to the secondary LUN. When you synchronize the clone pair again, the latest data of the primary LUN will be synchronized to the secondary LUN.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the synchronization has been completed so that data on the secondary LUN is available after the secondary LUN is stopped.
