This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5 storage systems. It describes hardware installation of those storage systems for helping you easily and quickly finish the installation.

show ib_port count

Function

The show ib_port count command is used to calculate the number of IB ports.

Format

show ib_port count [ parent_type=? ] [ logical_type=? ]

Parameters

Value

parent_type=? Parent type.

The value can be "controller", "expand_board", or "interface_module", where:

  • controller: indicates a controller.
  • expand_board: indicates an expansion board.
  • interface_module: indicates an interface module.
logical_type=? Logical port type.

The value can be "host", "exp", "mngt", "maintenance", "inner", "mngt_srv" , "maintenance_srv", "backup_mgr", "product_storage", "backup_storage", "eth_not_config", or "ip_scale_out", where:

  • host: indicates a host port.
  • exp: indicates an expansion port.
  • mngt: indicates a management network interface.
  • maintenance: indicates a maintenance port.
  • inner: indicates an internal port.
  • mngt_srv: indicates a port that can function as both a management port and a service port.
  • maintenance_srv: indicates a port that can function as both a maintenance port and a service port.
  • backup_mgr: indicates a backup management network interface.
  • product_storage: indicates a production storage network interface.
  • backup_storage: indicates a backup storage network interface.
  • eth_not_config: indicates a network interface for which no roles have been configured.
  • ip_scale_out: indicates a network interface for IP Scale-out.
