This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5 storage systems. It describes hardware installation of those storage systems for helping you easily and quickly finish the installation.

change system_reporter process


The change system_reporter process command is used to start or stop the SystemReporter system.


change system_reporter process status=?





status=? State type.

The value can be "start" or "stop", where:

  • "start": starts SystemReporter.
  • "stop": stops SystemReporter.



Usage Guidelines

This command cannot be executed on the CLI to which you log in using the controller's management IP address. Before running this command, log in to the CLI using the SVP's management IP address.


  • Start the SystemReporter system.

    admin:/>change system_reporter process status=start
    Command executed successfully.
  • Stop the SystemReporter system.

    admin:/>change system_reporter process status=stop
    WARNING:You are about to stop SystemReporter. This operation disables performance statistics and archive functions. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that SystemReporter needs to be stopped. 
    Have you read warning message carefully?(y/n)y
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y
    Command executed successfully.
