show ib_initiator general


The show ib_initiator general command is used to query the properties of an InfiniBand initiator.


show ib_initiator general [ wwn=? ] [ is_free=? ] [ host_id=? ]






Initiator WWN.

To obtain the value, run the "show ib_initiator general" command.


Host ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show host general" command.


Whether the initiator is free.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • yes: The initiator is free and can be added to a host.
  • no: The initiator is being used and cannot be added to other hosts.



Usage Guidelines

You can choose only one of the following three parameters: "wwn", "is_free", and "host_id".


Query the properties of an InfiniBand initiator.

Failover mode of the initiator.

Special Mode Type

Special mode type of the initiator.

Path Type

Path type of the initiator.
