remove remote_device link fc


The "remove remote_device link fc" command is used to remove Fibre Channel links to a remote device.


remove remote_device link fc fc_link_id=?






Link ID.

To obtain the value, run "show remote_device link".



Usage Guidelines

  • Running this command deletes the information on the selected link from the storage system.
  • Before running this command, ensure that the selected link is exactly the one you want to remove.


Deleting Fibre Channel link "0".

admin:/>remove remote_device link fc fc_link_id=0 
WARNING: You are going to remove links for remote devices. This operation removes all links but leaves one to bear replication services between storage arrays. If this link is faulty, all replication services between storage arrays are interrupted. 
Suggestion: Before you perform this operation, ensure that you have selected correct links, which are removable.
