Function

The delete audit log_files command is used to delete audit logs of a service within a specified time period.

Format

delete audit log_files service_type=? from_time=? to_time=? [ file_type=? ]

service_type=?

Service type.

To obtain the value, run the "show audit_strategy" command without parameters.

from_time=?

Start time.

NOTE:

The value of from_time is local time. The value of from_time must be less than or equal to that of to_time.

The value is in the format of "year-month-day", where:

  • "year": The year ranges from 2000 to 2035.
  • "month": The month ranges from 01 to 12.
  • "day": The day ranges from 01 to 31.

to_time=?

End time.

NOTE:

The value of to_time is local time. The value of to_time must be greater than or equal to that of from_time.

The value is in the format of "year-month-day", where:

  • "year": The year ranges from 2000 to 2035.
  • "month": The month ranges from 01 to 12.
  • "day": The day ranges from 01 to 31.

file_type=?

Type of the file to be deleted. By default, XML and metadata files are deleted.

"xml": Only XML files are deleted.

Usage Guidelines

  • This operation deletes logs generated within a specific period time in the background. The time required is subject to the number of files to be deleted.
  • The command can be executed again only after the last deletion task is complete.
  • The start and end time is between 2000-01-01 and 2035-12-31 in local time.

Example

  • Delete audit logs of the NAS service.
    admin:/>delete audit log_files service_type=NAS from_time=2016-06-20 to_time=2016-06-21 
    DANGER: You are going to delete service audit logs. This operation deletes logs generated within a specific period of time. The deleted audit logs cannot be recovered.  
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the audit logs can be deleted. 
    Have you read danger alert message carefully?(y/n)y 
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Delete audit XML logs of the NAS service.
    admin:/>delete audit log_files service_type=NAS from_time=2016-06-20 to_time=2016-06-21 file_type=xml
