delete fs_snapshot general

Function

The delete fs_snapshot general command is used to delete a snapshot.

Format

delete fs_snapshot general snapshot_id_list=?

Indicates the ID of the snapshot you want to delete.

To obtain the value, run "show fs_snapshot general".

Multiple snapshots are separated by commas(,).

Usage Guidelines

  • Before running this command, check whether the ID of the read-only snapshot is correct.
  • Multiple snapshots can be deleted simultaneously. Separate the IDs of the snapshots you want to delete with commas (,).

Example

To delete snapshot 0, run the following command:

admin:/>delete fs_snapshot general snapshot_id_list=0@snap1 
WARNING: You are about to run a command to delete the snapshot. Snapshot will be deleted and the associated backup data will be lost. 
Suggestion: Before running this command, ensure that you have selected the correct snapshot.
