create remote_replication_vstore general


The create remote_replication_vstore general command is used to create remote replication vStore pairs.


create remote_replication_vstore general local_vstore_id=? remote_vstore_id=? remote_device_id=? [ identity_preserve=? ]





local_vstore_id Local vStore ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show vstore" command.

remote_device_id Remote device ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show remote_device general" command.

remote_vstore_id Remote vStore ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show remote_vstore general array_type=replication" command.

identity_preserve Whether to synchronize all configurations.

The value can be "true" or "false", where:

  • "true": synchronizes all configurations.
  • "false": synchronizes part of the configurations.



Usage Guidelines



Create a remote replication vStore pair.

admin:/>create remote_replication_vstore general local_vstore_id=10 remote_device_id=1 remote_vstore_id=11 identity_preserve=true
WARNING: You are about to create a remote replication vStore pair. If the value of "identity_preserve" is "true", it indicates that all configurations are synchronized, and IP addresses and domain names for accessing the primary and secondary end are consistent. Ensure that the IP address of the primary and secondary end are not activated at the same time.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, check whether the selected primary and secondary resource and the configured parameters are correct.
