This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5 storage systems. It describes hardware installation of those storage systems for helping you easily and quickly finish the installation.

The change vstore info command is used to change the basic information about a vStore.


change vstore info id=? { name=? | description=? | san_capacity_quota=? | nas_capacity_quota=? } *





id=? ID of the vStore whose information you want to change.

The value ranges from 1 to 511. To obtain the value, run the "show vstore" command.

name=? New vStore name.

The value contains letters, digits, underscores (_), periods (.), or hyphens (-). The name contains 1 to 31 characters.

description=? New vStore description.

The value consists of a maximum of 255 characters.

san_capacity_quota=? SAN capacity quota of a vStore.
  • The value is in the format of "capacity value + unit", expressed in KB, MB, GB, TB, or Blocks.
  • The value ranges from 1024 sectors to 18446744073709551614 sectors.
nas_capacity_quota=? NAS capacity quota of a vStore.
  • The value is in the format of "capacity value + unit", expressed in KB, MB, GB, TB, or Blocks.
  • The value ranges from 2097152 sectors to 18446744073709551614 sectors.



Usage Guidelines

Before running this command, ensure that the selected vStore is exactly the one you want to modify its settings.


Change the description of the vStore whose ID is 1.

admin:/>change vstore info id=1 description=test1
