create quota_tree general


The create quota_tree general command is used to create a quota tree in a file system.


create quota_tree general file_system_id=? quota_tree_name=? [ quota_switch=? ] [ number=? ] [ security_style=? ] [ path=? ]






Indicates the file system ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command.


Indicates the quota tree name.

The value contains 1 to 127 characters, only including letters, digits, spaces, and special characters (!\"#&%$'()*+-.;<=>?@[]^_`{|}~). On the CLI, the following characters need to be represented with escape sequences: "\|" indicates "|", "\\" indicates "\", "\q" indicates "?", and "\s" indicates a space.


Indicates the quota switch.

The value is "on" or "off", where:

  • "on": The quota is enabled.
  • "off": The quota is disabled.


Indicates the number of quota trees to be created.

The value is an integer between 2 and 4096.


Security style supported by a qtree directory.

The value can be "Mixed" or "Native", where:

  • "Mixed": mixed security style.
  • "Native": native security style.


Absolute path of the quota tree's parent directory.

The value is a string of 1 to 2047 characters and starts with a slash (/).



Usage Guidelines



Batch create five quota trees in file system 0.

admin:/>create quota_tree general file_system_id=0 path=/ quota_tree_name=quotatree quota_switch=on number=5 security_style=Mixed 
Create the quota tree quotatree0000 successfully. 
Create the quota tree quotatree0001 successfully. 
Create the quota tree quotatree0002 successfully. 
Create the quota tree quotatree0003 successfully. 
Create the quota tree quotatree0004 successfully.
