change resource_user general

Function

The change resource_user general command is used to change the configuration of a resource user.

Format

change resource_user general user_id=? { primary_group_name=? | secondary_group_names=? | status_enabled=? } *

Parameters

user_id=?

ID of a resource user.

The value ranges from 0 to 900,000.

primary_group_name=?

Primary group associated with the resource user.

The value contains 1 to 63 characters.

secondary_group_names=?

Secondary group associated with the resource user.

A maximum of 99 secondary group names can be specified, and they must be separated from each other using commas (,).

status_enabled=?

Whether the resource user is enabled.

The value can be yes or no, where:

  • yes: enable the resource user.
  • no: disable the resource user.

  • To query a resource user before it is modified, run the following command.
    admin:/>show resource_user general user_id=100006

    Status Enabled : Yes

  • To modify a resource user's information, run the following command.
    admin:/>change resource_user general user_id=100006 primary_group_name=group2  
    status_enabled=no secondary_group_names=default_group 
    Command executed successfully.
  • To query a resource user after it is modified, run the following command.
    admin:/>show resource_user general user_id=100006 
    User ID : 100006  
    User Name : user01  
    Description :  
    Primary Group ID : 100002
